While we offer financial gifts during the service as an act of worship and faithfulness to God, if you are a guest, there is no expectation or pressure for financial giving to the church.

Financial stewardship is an important part of our relationship with God, as it helps us to cultivate a grateful and generous heart, while also making possible the ways God uses the ministries of Living Waters UMC to bless the community.

If you would like to mail a check to the church, or set up your bank’s online pay feature to make regular donations to the church, you can use the following mailing address:

Additional Financial Information

While the church provides the space and utilities for the H20 Food Pantry ministry, all food that is distributed is provided by private donations and community contributions.
As you can see, our projected monthly expenses for 2018 will be very close to, or slightly above, the current level of congregational giving. Our expenses for 2018 are rising due to returning to making a full mortgage payment on our building. When the church hit a period of financial distress in early 2016, we began making interest-only payments, at about $800 per month. At the beginning of 2018, we must return to making an actual mortgage payment. The church still owes approximately $200,000 on our building. In terms of our current resources, the church has approximately $10,000 in reserves as our “emergency fund,” and less than $5,000 in our operating fund.
